Matthias Reinmuth German, b. 1974

Biography

In my latest series, titled Glimpse, which I started and continously developing since 2019, I show "emotional landscapes" that reflect the constant flow of sounds and images emitted by the media and social networks that interfere with our daily lives and our watching on devices.

I see this series as the moment of brief floating and shimmering between successive images and sounds or film snippets. The images are the experiment to read the basic noise of our coexistence with smartphone screens and the no longer concretely tangible permanent stream of visual and audiovisual information of our digital consciousness landscape.
